Warehouse Manager

Location: Rutland, Vermont, United States; onsite warehouse role

Salary: $44,799–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage inventory movement, including receiving, putaways, picking, replenishment, packing, palletizing, and shipping.
• Supervise and direct 2–3 Warehouse Workers and support continuous process improvement.
• Implement standard operating procedures and ensure warehouse performance and compliance standards are met.
• Manage inventory quality, accuracy, asset protection, stock locations, and order-picking strategies.
• Process inbound containers, full-truck and pallet shipments, and small-parcel shipments.
• Operate forklifts, train warehouse workers, prepare operational reports, and fulfill driver program requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse management experience, including inventory control and inventory-accounting relationships.
• At least 3 years of general warehouse operations experience.
• Leadership, communication, organization, time-management, training, and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, distribution methods, and interstate commerce regulations.
• Knowledge of hazardous shipping laws and requirements and the ability to use computer systems.
• A clean driving record, compliance with driver qualifications, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle and/or forklift are required.
