Microsoft Security, Compliance & Identity Architect Senior Consultant

Location: Hybrid role based in Houston or Dallas, United States, with work in local offices and on client sites; local or out-of-state travel may be required.

Salary: $97,000–$146,000 base annual salary, with a 10% bonus target and estimated total cash compensation of $106,700–$160,600.

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and migrate Microsoft security and compliance solutions.
• Architect and implement Microsoft Purview capabilities, including information protection, data loss prevention, data lifecycle management, and eDiscovery.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 business solutions across SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange.
• Advise clients and senior executives, translate technical challenges into business solutions, and build long-term client relationships.
• Lead project delivery, mentor and coach consultants, review work, and coordinate across teams.
• Support clients across multiple industries and work with large global Microsoft 365 tenants.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in the Microsoft 365 Security suite from a technical design, implementation, and administration perspective.
• Specific experience architecting and implementing Microsoft Purview across the Microsoft collaboration suite.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Entra, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Azure, and Microsoft Graph.
• Experience with team leadership, supervision, performance reviews, mentoring, coaching, and work oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in professional services or industry; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCC and GCCH environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), CISSP, or a similar certification.
