Senior Medical Science Liaison, NMOSD & gMG-Rare Disease (Medical Affairs): Serving as a scientific liaison for NMOSD and gMG across Colorado and Utah by developing clinical relationships, communicating medical information, and supporting research collaborations with an accent on rare-disease expertise, scientific engagement, and territory management. Focus on evaluating investigator-initiated and sponsored trials, monitoring competitive developments, training external speakers, and translating customer needs into internal resources.
Location: US - Colorado - Denver; territory includes Colorado and Utah. The role requires travel up to 60% for territory management, conferences, workshops, and company meetings.
Salary: $172,344.30-$233,171.70 USD annually

What you will do
- Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical and scientific community and build relationships with experts and clinicians.
- Partner with medical thought leaders, academic institutions, medical directors, managed-care decision makers, and pharmacy directors.
- Communicate scientific, medical, health-economic, and product information to internal and external audiences.
- Identify customer needs and connect them with internal resources across functional areas.
- Identify and train speakers for sponsored external programs.
- Support conferences, clinical research collaborations, investigator-initiated trials, sponsored trials, and competitive intelligence activities.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a master’s degree and 6 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience.
- Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a changing environment and communicate customer feedback effectively.
- Ability to travel up to 60% within the Colorado and Utah territory and to regional and national events.
- Ability to learn new business applications across PC and iPad hardware tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a professional, proactive demeanor.
Nice to have
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
- At least 2 years of experience as a medical science liaison in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
- Experience or potential to excel in smaller entrepreneurial organizations.
