Senior Medical Science Liaison Cardiovascular Metabolic (Biotech)

Location: US - Florida - Tampa; field-based territory covering either West Florida or Central Florida

Salary: $172,344.30–$233,171.70 per year

What you will do

• Engage cardiometabolic opinion leaders, healthcare decision-makers, payers, providers, advocacy organizations, and access stakeholders.
• Communicate clinical, scientific, clinical value, outcomes, economic, reimbursement, and payer-policy data.
• Provide clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees while sharing field insights with internal collaborators.
• Develop and implement scientific engagement and local opinion-leader plans aligned with MSL goals.
• Support investigator-sponsored research, speaker training, congress activities, and cross-functional project teams.
• Maintain clinical expertise, respond to unsolicited inquiries compliantly, and support training and mentoring activities.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
• Preferred: 2 years of industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Preferred: 2 years of Medical Science Liaison experience.
• Preferred: at least 2 years of clinical practice, clinical research, medical research, post-doctoral training, residency, fellowship, or related medical experience.
• Cardiometabolic expertise is preferred.
