Import Activity Management (Trade)

What you will do

• Manage imports from suppliers through air and sea freight channels.
• Coordinate with PATs, vendor schedules, logistics providers, and internal sites.
• Provide solutions for urgent deliveries to the production floor, balancing transit time, logistics providers, and cost.
• Manage freight and duty budgets and initiate cost-reduction projects.
• Build communication and information infrastructure for shipment-status updates.
• Monitor market obstacles, airline capacity, business-continuity risks, and natural disasters, then develop practical solutions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant import, export, trade, or logistics experience.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach.
• Independence, assertiveness, and proactivity.
• Familiarity with market solutions and logistics capabilities.
• Problem-solving ability and skill in connecting stakeholders and bridging gaps.
