Associate Director of Development, Utah Chapter

Location: Remote/virtual office, with residence required in the local community served by the Utah Chapter, Ogden, Utah. Local travel may be required up to 40%, along with several overnight trips per year for offsites, planning sessions, retreats, and company-wide gatherings.

Salary: $79,000–$109,000 per year

What you will do

• Assist the Chapter Executive Director with local fundraising strategy and revenue goals.
• Build and manage a portfolio of at least 30 new major-gift prospects through cultivation, solicitation, and long-term stewardship.
• Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
• Identify funding opportunities and support grant proposal writing and reporting with the national Development team.
• Coordinate donor recognition, communications, engagement events, and accurate CRM activity tracking.
• Represent the chapter at community events and networking opportunities while aligning fundraising with local programs.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Demonstrated success in individual giving, corporate sponsorships, and/or grant writing.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.
• Must reside in the local community served by the Utah Chapter; preference is given to candidates who have lived there for at least three years.
• Ability to travel locally, overnight, and to required organizational gatherings; occasional nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
