Frontend Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid working model with the possibility to work remotely up to 50% of working time.

What you will do

• Design, build, release, monitor, and iteratively improve solutions addressing customer problems and business needs.
• Develop user-centric, scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in autonomous product teams.
• Apply strong engineering craftsmanship and continuously improve codebases, tooling, practices, and ways of working.
• Contribute to product outcomes including customer trust, conversion, time-to-market, and long-term engagement.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of Redux Toolkit, RTK Query, and asynchronous data flows.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance web applications.
• Strong engineering practices including testing, code quality, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Product-oriented mindset focused on customer and business value.
• Ownership, autonomy, problem-solving ability, and comfort working in cross-functional product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native, micro-frontends, or frontend security.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and engineering excellence.
