Client Voices Promoter (Refugee Services)

Location: Wichita, Kansas, USA. Combination of office-based work and regular community work throughout the service delivery area, including meetings with community partners. Occasional weekend and evening work is required.

Pay rate: $20/hour.

What you will do

• Execute client satisfaction and feedback initiatives, including surveys and focus group discussions.
• Collaborate with clients to use their feedback in program planning and service improvements.
• Serve as a liaison between IRC and local refugee communities, raising concerns and suggestions with office leadership.
• Support client participation in discussions with external partners and broader community strategy development.
• Organize community events, focus groups, leadership training, and civic engagement sessions.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with client complaints and feedback policies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of work experience.
• Experience working with refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, and/or immigrant populations.
• Strong written, oral, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written, is required.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with current insurance, and ability to travel regularly throughout the service delivery area.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Community outreach experience.
• Fluency in Arabic, Swahili, French, Pashto, or Dari, and familiarity with the cultures of the local refugee population.
