Senior AI Applied Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with two days per week from the office

What you will do

• Design and deliver complex, performant, secure, and scalable frontend features with minimal guidance.
• Own the full lifecycle of digital banking products, from ideation and architecture through release and maintenance.
• Improve system architecture and design components that integrate smoothly across APIs.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and raise engineering standards within the squad.
• Use AI tooling across development and testing while optimizing CI/CD pipelines and reducing technical debt.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and UX designers in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Must live in Kraków or a nearby area and work from the office twice per week.
• 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
• Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems such as Webpack and Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and complex data flows between services.
• Excellent spoken and written English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with frontend architecture, APIs, scalability, backward compatibility, and CI/CD optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Exposure to Java, Spring JPA/Hibernate, Maven, microservices, Netflix OSS, or cloud technologies.
• Previous experience in fintech or banking.
