Staff Financial Analyst – Global Sales (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role based at the Sunnyvale, California headquarters, 4 days per week. The position includes a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

Salary: $166,500–$244,200 USD base pay annually for the SF Bay Area, including Sunnyvale. The role may also include variable compensation and/or equity.

What you will do

• Lead FP&A support for Worldwide Sales through annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks.
• Analyze expenses, headcount, and GTM investments and provide actionable insights to Sales leadership.
• Own and improve financial models supporting forecasting and business decisions.
• Partner with Sales Operations, HR, Commissions, FP&A, and Accounting on headcount planning and quota strategy.
• Model commissions, channel economics, and routes to market within the planned P&L.
• Prepare executive, financial review, quarter-end, and board-level reporting while mentoring peers across GTM and FP&A.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in FP&A or finance, including sales finance or GTM support.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, accounting principles, and expense recognition.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tooling.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to address complex executive questions.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adaptive Planning and Office Connect.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and GAAP commissions.
• MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree.
• Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology environments.
