Insurance Expert (Health Insurance)

Location: Must be legally eligible to work from Spain. Remote work is available, with preferred proximity to the Spanish hubs in Madrid or Barcelona.

What you will do

• Monitor the insurance business, portfolio performance, and risks.
• Define pricing and repricing strategies for healthcare insurance products.
• Improve margin monitoring and analyze portfolio profitability.
• Recommend actions to optimize products, margins, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to provide tools that support customer outcomes.
• Share healthcare and insurance expertise with data scientists, designers, engineers, product managers, and global insurance teams.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in health insurance.
• Fluent English.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance trends, pricing and repricing decisions, and market practices.
• Quantitative background in statistics or actuarial sciences combined with experience in insurance products and business.
• Ability to synthesize technical, data, business, and legal insurance topics.
• Legal eligibility to work from Spain.

Nice to have

• Fluent Spanish or willingness to learn Spanish.
• Experience coordinating with teams based in other countries.
• Connections and deep knowledge of the Spanish health insurance market.
