TL;DR
Contract Software Engineer - WebCompat Tooling (Dashboards and Reporting), Firefox (JavaScript/Python/Django): Building WebCompat dashboards and a broken-site-report screenshot pipeline to support site-breakage triage and prioritization with an accent on reporting, metrics, automation, and reliable web tooling. Focus on improving data views, developing screenshot capture workflows, and translating QA and WebCompat needs into dependable internal services.
Location: Remote Canada, France, Germany, or the UK

What you will do
- Build and improve WebCompat dashboards for triage, reporting, and metrics.
- Improve the broken-site-report screenshot capture process and pipeline.
- Develop reliable internal tooling for WebCompat reporting and triage.
- Work with the WebCompat team and QA to translate operational needs into data views and automation.
Requirements
- Solid web development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, and Django.
- Experience building dashboards and data views.
- Comfort with tooling, automation, and web services.
- Self-directed working style and good written communication.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with WebCompat workflows and Bugzilla.
- Experience with screenshot or automation pipelines.
- Experience with machine learning.
