Solution Architect (Enterprise ICT)

What you will do

• Design architecture and solution blueprints for large-scale enterprise ICT systems.
• Define interoperability, integrations, interfaces, technology standards, and architectural approaches.
• Translate business, user, and technical requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable designs.
• Produce architecture artefacts, UML models, technical documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Lead development teams, provide technical direction, and support requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, deployment, and change management.
• Assess technologies, feasibility, effort, timelines, risks, and system metrics, including solutions involving cloud storage, video surveillance, video streaming, and field operations.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant IT professional experience, including at least 3 years as a Software, Solution, Enterprise Architect, or in a similar role.
• Level 7 education, such as a master’s degree or equivalent, in an ICT-related field, plus a relevant master-level technology or architecture certification.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• Experience acting as the key architect for at least two software systems and designing enterprise software architectures.
• Expert knowledge of capacity planning, security architecture, performance optimization, UML, databases, application servers, middleware, web servers, GIS, directory services, Microsoft platform security, business intelligence, and systems integration.
• Knowledge of RUP, ISO/IEC 12207, Agile methodologies, architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or ARIS Architect, cloud storage, and ICT support for field operations.
