SRE Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Own reliability for a domain supporting more than 200 services running on GCP and GKE.
• Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
• Embed SRE and DevOps practices across architecture planning, development, and deployment.
• Research infrastructure tools, deliver proof-of-concept projects, and build automated workflows with the Automation team.
• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, project documentation, and reliability metrics.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for mission-critical services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes; GKE and GCP experience are preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, GitOps, and at least one GitOps tool, preferably FluxCD.
• Experience administering and tuning PostgreSQL, MySQL, and ClickHouse.
• Experience deploying and maintaining distributed high-load systems and implementing fault-tolerance mechanisms such as clustering, replication, and scaling.
• Experience with monitoring solutions and scripting in Bash or Python; spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, VictoriaLogs, Grafana Loki, Grafana Tempo, or Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, GitLab CI, Helm, or application migration to Kubernetes.
• Experience with Linux-like operating systems and security controls in containerized environments.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to automate processes with a focus on security.
