Investment Advisor Assistant (Bilingual)

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada; work arrangement details, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Support Investment Advisors in managing and growing high-net-worth client portfolios.
• Prepare investment plans and written proposals for current and prospective clients.
• Engage with clients, answer questions, anticipate needs, and improve the client experience.
• Verify client documents, signatures, and signing authority in line with compliance procedures.
• Review legal agreements for cash management products and escalate unresolved issues.
• Identify business opportunities and assist with allocating assets to suitable financial products.

Requirements

• Current accreditation and good standing as an Investment Representative with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization Investment Dealer division.
• CIRO Derivatives license and successful completion of the CIRO Derivatives Exam.
• Financial services or brokerage industry experience and working knowledge of quotation equipment.
• Fluency in French and English to serve clients in the community.
• Strong client service, analytical thinking, organization, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
