CNC Manual Machinist - 5:00AM-3:30PM Mon-Thur (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set up and manually operate conventional lathes, vertical milling machines, and machining centers.
• Fabricate complex, one-off, and high-tolerance custom parts without relying on automated G-code programs.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics to calculate and machine intricate profiles.
• Use measuring instruments, machine manuals, and mechanical diagnostics to troubleshoot machining issues and setups.
• Perform light maintenance, cleaning, and preventative upkeep on assigned machines.
• Collaborate with shop teams and support plant-wide facility projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of hands-on CNC experience or equivalent training.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to stand for 75% of the shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a loud manufacturing environment while using appropriate PPE.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.

Nice to have

• Technical certificate or associate’s degree in CNC machining.
• Familiarity with G-code.
