Test Engineer II (Aerospace)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

What you will do

• Design test plans for board-level electronic assemblies in collaboration with design engineers.
• Execute functional, digital signal integrity, power converter, and multi-board assembly tests in the electronics lab.
• Design test fixtures and custom PCBs for testing and system integration.
• Plan prototype module integration and assemble complex test setups with engineers and technicians.
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues across phased-array systems and components.
• Evaluate, document, and present test results to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant industry or research experience.
• Experience designing and executing test plans for custom board-level electronics.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, LabVIEW, SQL, MATLAB, or Embedded C.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
• Eligibility to work on U.S. Government-controlled space technology under applicable export regulations.

Nice to have

• Test engineering, board-level hardware design, or aerospace industry experience.
• Experience designing and executing EMI/EMC tests.
• Understanding of RF and mixed-signal hardware, including amplifiers, filters, ADCs, DACs, and antennas.
