Magento Backend Developer (Magento)

Location: Poland or Cyprus; remote or hybrid work available.

hirify.global is delivering backend engineering for an international aerospace parts distributor modernizing its e-commerce architecture.

What you will do

• Lead the full-cycle Magento 2.3.3 to 2.4.x migration, including PHP updates, extension remediation, and database schema fixes.
• Design and implement product data synchronization between Magento and Microsoft Business Central using REST and webhooks.
• Take ownership of the legacy codebase, conduct code audits, and improve technical documentation after the vendor transition.
• Maintain quality and regression control for B2B pricing, tier structures, and catalog pages.
• Set up and maintain on-premises infrastructure with complete environment parity.

Requirements

• More than 4 years of Magento 2.x backend development experience.
• Production experience delivering a Magento 2.3.x to 2.4.x upgrade.
• Strong PHP, MySQL, and Magento internals knowledge.
• Experience designing REST and webhook integrations with ERP platforms; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of on-premises infrastructure and complex legacy codebases.
• English at B2+ level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central integrations.
• Active use of Cursor, Copilot, or ChatGPT for refactoring and documentation.
