TL;DR
Data Scientist (Agentic AI) (Python/Azure ML): Architecting and scaling an open-source agentic AI framework for autonomous systems with an accent on intelligent agent development, distributed architectures, and enterprise transformation. What you will do
- Identify business transformation opportunities and solve real-world problems using agentic AI.
- Translate business needs into data science problems, then rapidly experiment, build, and deploy scalable solutions.
- Develop, train, and deploy intelligent agents using Python and Azure ML.
- Architect and co-own a modular open-source agentic AI framework integrating generative AI and real-world tools.
- Collaborate through rapid demos, peer pairing, framework rollouts, customer interaction, and strategic technical work.
- Mentor researchers and developers, supervise industrial PhD work, and contribute to whitepapers and technical publications.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent research experience in computer science, mathematics, AI, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience building or contributing to agentic AI frameworks rather than only using APIs.
- Strong Python programming skills and architectural design experience with microservice ecosystems and message brokers.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a high-trust, low-hierarchy environment.
- Contributions to academic or technical communities and open-source projects.
Nice to have
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or Google machine learning platforms.
- Contributions to graph theory, DevOps, or distributed systems.
- Experience with digital transformation, AI-native product development, or enterprise automation.
- Authorship, publication, or presentation in academic or whitepaper communities.
