SERT Supplier Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Onsite role with approximately 10% travel. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary focal point for the Supplier Engineering Excursion Response Team, connecting Manufacturing Operations with Supplier Engineering Quality.
• Lead supplier excursion response, evaluate supplier performance and capabilities, and drive improvement initiatives at supplier sites.
• Resolve quality problems and manage incidents through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Document containment, root cause, corrective action, and verification activities using the 8D methodology and enterprise quality software.
• Train suppliers, participate in process audits, and promote testing methods aligned with corporate compliance and industry standards.
• Support the development and execution of hirify.global' global Quality Management System and related industry documentation.

Requirements

• Depth or breadth of expertise in supplier management, manufacturing engineering, and quality engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend practices that improve products, processes, or services.
• Experience leading others through complex problems using analytical judgment and innovative solutions.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts, negotiate with stakeholders, and resolve complex problems.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
