LQA Tester (French/English)

Location: On-site in Madrid, Spain, at Alvento Business Park. The role requires existing permission to work in Spain.

What you will do

• Test game localisation for linguistic accuracy, natural phrasing, cultural appropriateness, and consistency.
• Identify, document, and report linguistic issues using professional bug databases.
• Track reported issues, verify fixes, and collaborate with testers, translators, and developers.
• Write and refine test cases and document findings throughout the testing cycle.
• Support localisation testing from early development through final delivery.
• Improve QA workflows, share knowledge, and contribute to LQA best practices.

Requirements

• French at a near-native or fluent level, with confident written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of linguistic accuracy.
• Passion for video games and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with databases, spreadsheets, testing tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Existing right to work in Spain.
• Availability for on-site work in Madrid.

Nice to have

• Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
• Familiarity with translation systems, test case management tools, or text editing platforms.
• Knowledge of gaming trends and gaming culture.
• A degree in linguistics or a related field.
