Data & Regulatory Reporting Analyst (Banking)

What you will do

• Simplify and automate regulatory delivery processes for transaction datasets.
• Improve validation and data quality checks before data is shared with report owners.
• Create structured delivery plans for quarterly and half-yearly regulatory reporting.
• Document new processes and implement changes with the existing data delivery team.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to improve reporting and actionable insights.

Requirements

• Degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related analytics-focused field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a data or analytical role.
• Strong experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, Databricks, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modelling, and data engineering techniques.
• Knowledge of the financial sector, banking products, or regulatory reporting delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
