Structural Designer

Location: San Diego, California, United States

Base salary: $66,000–$97,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Participate in integrated design processes with architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and master planners.
• Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with structural design for offices, education and recreation buildings, laboratories, healthcare facilities, and performing arts centers.
• Research next-generation structural design and analysis methods.
• Contribute to project construction administration.
• Receive mentorship and training focused on preparation for PE and SE licensure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Enthusiastic commitment to multidisciplinary design and collaborative teamwork.
• Curiosity and openness to learning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Revit, RAM, RISA, and ETABS.
