Location: Primarily based at ’s Gold Coast campus, with work across other university locations as required. A mix of on-campus and work-from-home options is available. Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia; visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary: AUD 137,165–142,070 per annum plus 17% superannuation. Total full-time equivalent package: AUD 160,483–166,222 per annum.

What you will do
- Partner with the Head of School and senior leaders on strategic and operational planning, governance, budgeting, workforce planning and resource management.
- Provide advice and practical solutions on complex operational and business matters.
- Lead, coach and develop professional staff across three campuses.
- Lead business improvement, change initiatives and special projects involving complex issues and competing priorities.
- Support academic workforce and workload planning, including sessional staffing and resource allocation.
- Represent the School across university committees and build relationships across Griffith Health and the broader University.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with extensive management experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Strong strategic thinking, sound judgement and the ability to work between high-level priorities and operational detail.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a complex organisation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to advise senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience leading projects, change or business improvement initiatives.
- Strong financial and resource management capability, with resilience, flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement.
