Annual salary: $117,000–$234,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Define and execute payment strategies that reduce financial losses, chargebacks, and fraud.
• Lead payment-risk initiatives in partnership with Seller Risk, Trust & Safety, Data Science, Operations, Credit Risk, and Billing teams.
• Automate payment workflows and controls, including reconciliation and settlements, to improve operational efficiency.
• Improve the end-to-end seller payments journey by addressing holds, delays, transparency, and cross-border complexity.
• Collaborate with Product and Technology teams on payment-related roadmaps and strategic execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team using data-driven recommendations to improve payment performance and seller NPS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field with 4 years of data analytics experience, or 6 years of related experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience, preferably in payments, e-commerce, risk, financial services, or a similar area, including 3+ years in leadership or team management.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with large-scale datasets.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical, communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must work from the Sunnyvale, California home office location.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of e-commerce marketplace platforms, seller payments, and financial ecosystems.
• Understanding of payment risk management and fraud prevention.
• Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis.
• Experience with statistical programming languages such as SAS or R.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
