Base salary: $170,000–$240,000 per year, plus bonus and equity.

Company

hirify.global is a publicly traded medical technology company developing AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac imaging and heart-care products for diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease.

What you will do

  • Build reproducible analytical pipelines and visualizations across population-scale imaging datasets.
  • Characterize dataset distributions, imaging variability, and model vulnerabilities across diverse patient populations.
  • Develop and validate methods for correcting and harmonizing complex data-related factors and image variations.
  • Translate data variance and model behavior findings into curation requirements, training robustness strategies, and architectural recommendations.
  • Develop annotation protocols for algorithm training, validation, internal product development, and FDA submissions.
  • Collaborate with research, machine learning, systems, process engineering, product, and regulatory teams to communicate analyses and support decisions.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Medical Image Analysis, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Image Analysis, or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • Working knowledge of reproducibility and agreement statistics, including variance components, Gage R&R, intraclass correlation, repeatability and reproducibility coefficients, and Bland–Altman analysis.
  • Deep understanding of medical image data structures, imaging physics and clinical realities, with experience building medical imaging algorithms.
  • Expert proficiency in Python and statistical analysis tools such as pandas, scipy, statsmodels, seaborn, and matplotlib, plus experience with large and complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience developing or fine-tuning deep learning computer vision algorithms for medical images, preferably with PyTorch.

Nice to have

  • Research in domain generalization, image harmonization, or out-of-distribution detection in medical imaging.
  • Experience with large multi-vendor CT datasets, acquisition and reconstruction protocols, and data- or annotation-related algorithm performance gaps.
  • Experience with large-scale querying, cloud storage, AWS, SQL, SaMD products, regulatory filings, or biostatistics for FDA submissions.

Culture & Benefits

  • Work in a cross-functional environment spanning research, engineering, product, and regulatory functions.
  • Use modern agentic tools and LLMs such as GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Claude in daily development workflows.
  • Contribute to AI-driven products used internationally for cardiac care.
  • Compensation includes base salary, bonus, and equity.
  • Equal-opportunity workplace committed to an inclusive and respectful environment.
