Senior Project Engineer (Biopharmaceutical Process Equipment)

Location: Raheen, Limerick, Ireland; onsite

Salary range: 54,200.00–88,400.00 annually

What you will do

• Design, specify, commission, and provide engineering support for new and renovated cGMP process equipment, piping, controls, utility systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Manage small-to-mid-sized process equipment and manufacturing projects, including design reviews, site acceptance, installation, and commissioning support.
• Prepare P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams, engineering evaluations, test plans, design documents, and change control documentation.
• Support QA Validation with protocol execution, lifecycle documentation, cleaning validation protocols, and summary reports.
• Investigate equipment, utility, control-system, and safety anomalies while implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional meetings, supervise contractors and direct reports as needed, and support department efficiency tracking.

Requirements

• BS/BEng or higher in chemical, process, or mechanical engineering; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Excellent technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment and support continuous improvement.
• Ability to work onsite in Raheen, Limerick, Ireland.
