Senior Director, Biostatistics - Immunology & Inflammation

Location: Tarrytown, NY; Cambridge, MA; or Warren, NJ, United States. Four days per week on site; 25% travel may be required.

Salary: $242,000–$403,300 annually

What you will do

• Lead strategic and operational biostatistics activities for the Immunology & Inflammation therapeutic area.
• Set departmental goals, allocate resources, and plan project activities, timelines, and staffing needs.
• Provide statistical leadership for clinical development plans, study design, project decisions, and regulatory meetings.
• Oversee statistical reporting and review SAPs, analysis presentations, clinical study reports, and integrated summaries.
• Ensure compliance with data submission guidelines, regulatory standards, and departmental procedures.
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain biostatistics staff while promoting teamwork and quality.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in statistics or a related discipline with 10+ years of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health-related industry experience, or an M.S. with 15+ years of experience.
• Six or more years of successful project and people management experience, with expertise across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Significant interaction with the FDA and EMEA and thorough knowledge of clinical drug development, regulatory submissions, and statistical practice.
• Broad knowledge of advanced statistical concepts and techniques, plus active research interests related to clinical trials.
• Strong leadership, project management, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
• Ability to lead major process and technology initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and represent Biostatistics and Data Management to senior management.
