Design & Implementation Specialist (Cyber Security)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid working model with three days together and two days wherever

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and hand over network security solutions based on BT security portfolio technologies.
• Prepare and maintain HLD, MLD, and LLD network designs, solution documentation, technical proposals, and cost models.
• Provide technical consultancy to multinational customers, business partners, and senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate or supervise global network designers and lead matrix teams of technical experts.
• Develop proof-of-concept designs and configuration guidelines for firewalls, cloud security proxies, and other security products.
• Configure devices, verify normal operation, manage multiple projects, and support transition and transformation change windows.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of firewall technologies including Juniper SRX, Check Point, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto.
• Experience with load balancing technologies including Juniper, Cisco, and F5 platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network design, IDS/IPS, content inspection, WAF, VPN, remote access, IP networking, and security gateways.
• Experience deploying network and security services for large organisations and analysing diagnostic output.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts, lead network designers, manage customer-facing work, and coordinate multiple projects.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• CCNP, CCSE, PCNSE, CCNA, or CCMS certifications.
• Knowledge of Python, Kubernetes, Ansible, automation, and RESTful APIs.
• Professional or expert-level Check Point accreditation.
