SAP Techno-Functional Vertex Sr. Analyst

What you will do

• Own the technical and functional delivery and support of Vertex and SAP Tax initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, redesign processes, and enhance Vertex functionality.
• Troubleshoot integration gaps between hirify.global's SAP landscape and Vertex systems.
• Coordinate with the AMS provider to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Lead support pack, enhancement pack, and upgrade activities while ensuring Vertex best practices.
• Establish and track project and operations KPIs, SLAs, risks, issues, and improvement plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Tax and Vertex configuration and Vertex Accelerator configuration and enhancements.
• Experience with Vendor Recon configuration and enhancements, Vertex O Series, and Vertex reporting.
• Hands-on integration experience with SAP Ariba, MM/SD modules, and System Integration Component connections.
• Experience completing 3–4 full lifecycle Vertex implementations in hands-on and lead capacities, including design and support.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• Experience working with distributed onshore and offshore teams.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies and strong business process knowledge.
• SAP or Vertex certification.
