Bilingual Onsite Health Coach (Spanish)

Location: Onsite at several sites in Washington, DC and Bethesda, Maryland

Salary: $67,100–$111,800 USD annually, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Provide face-to-face health coaching and support to workplace clients.
• Identify health education needs through targeted assessments and establish personalized, evidence-based improvement goals.
• Use biometric values and motivational interviewing to support improved clinical outcomes.
• Lead group coaching, wellness challenges, health seminars, and other health promotion activities.
• Perform biometric screenings such as finger sticks, blood pressure checks, and body composition measurements.
• Support site events including open enrollment, wellness committees, flu shot events, and health fairs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in health coaching, health education, and health promotion, with strong clinical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Fluent bilingual Spanish capability and the ability to pass oral and written assessments.
• CPR/BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Strong presentation, administrative, computer, collaboration, and customer-focused skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage clinical targets, outcome measurements, and action plans.

Nice to have

• Registered Dietitian license in the respective state.
• NBC-HWC or CHES certification.
• Motivational interviewing training or experience.
• Smoking cessation or diabetes experience.
