Senior Process Engineer (Maritime Robotics)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; in-office. Applicants must be U.S. persons and independently authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus stock options, 401(k) matching, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Design and maintain manufacturing processes, operation sequences, and process routings in the MES.
• Translate engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOMs into visual work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Implement process controls and screening methods that verify functional requirements and identify potential failure modes.
• Analyze cycle time, yield, defect rates, and other manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for manufacturing and process non-conformances.
• Own the transition from prototype through new product introduction to full-rate production in partnership with engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with MES, ERP, or PLM systems for process routings and documentation.
• Proficiency analyzing manufacturing data with Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or similar tools.
• Must be a U.S. person and independently authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Experience in the aerospace, defense, or maritime industry.
