Chemical Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment and control systems in continuous and batch production processes.
• Blend tanks and load or unload raw materials and finished products.
• Complete SAP transactions for inventory, production tracking, and maintenance notifications.
• Perform in-process sampling, lab analysis, batch documentation, and corrective actions for off-specification materials.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures, including PPE, respirator use, confined-space entry, and permit monitoring.
• Support routine maintenance, shutdowns, startups, root-cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of industrial, chemical, or manufacturing experience are strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and read technical documents, schematics, and operating procedures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime in an on-site plant environment.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, climb frequently, use a respirator, enter confined spaces, and meet plant fitness-for-duty requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical manufacturing or forklift operation.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Vocational or post-secondary technical education.
