Electrical Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States. Work arrangements may include a mix of in-office and remote work depending on role and business needs. Occasional travel of less than 5% is required.

Base salary: $105,593.46–$142,861.74 USD per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop robot and automation system control solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Design PCBs for system and robot controllers and create engineering design specifications.
• Analyze complex field and manufacturing issues and provide rapid investigations and responses.
• Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and debug circuits using laboratory equipment and tools.
• Present technical information, participate in design reviews, and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, embedded controls, and software engineering.
• Maintain engineering documentation, processes, systems, and design standards.

Requirements

• BSEE with 3+ years of experience or MSEE with 1+ years of experience.
• Experience with SPICE modeling and analysis or an equivalent capability.
• Knowledge of digital circuit design, DC-DC power supply circuits, component selection, datasheet interpretation, and cable design.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, technical communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to learn complex systems quickly, work independently, collaborate across disciplines, and use standard laboratory equipment and Windows applications.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Competency with Altium.
• Experience with Verilog and FPGAs.
