Senior Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is building an AI-native ERP for private markets with a proprietary general ledger, fund administration, investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, and KPI collection.

What you will do

• Set the technical direction for infrastructure architecture, including build-versus-buy and vendor decisions.
• Establish on-call practices, SLOs, SLIs, incident response, and postmortem processes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD and deployment infrastructure across AWS and Vercel.
• Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure and PostgreSQL on Supabase, including performance, backups, migrations, and scaling.
• Build background job and workflow infrastructure with Trigger.dev and implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
• Harden security practices, write application code when needed, mentor engineers, and build the foundation for a future platform function.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience running production infrastructure at scale in SRE, platform engineering, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Experience designing infrastructure architecture from the ground up and serving as the senior-most infrastructure engineer at a scaling startup.
• Production PostgreSQL ownership at scale.
• Strong software engineering ability, including reading, writing, and debugging application code.
• Experience establishing incident response practices and SLOs/SLIs from scratch.
• A strong preference for automating recurring operational work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vercel, Supabase, Trigger.dev, or similar workflow and queue orchestration tools.
• Experience as a founding or senior-most infrastructure hire at an early-stage startup.
• Experience mentoring engineers or building an infrastructure/platform function.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated, security-sensitive industry.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as SOC 2.
