Intermediate Test Engineer Automation

What you will do

• Create, maintain, and execute automated tests for complex cloud-based systems.
• Design workload scenarios based on production traffic patterns and SLA/SLO requirements.
• Script dynamic test scenarios using parameterization, correlation, data-driven testing, and assertions.
• Integrate load tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated regression testing.
• Analyze performance results and metrics, profile microservices, REST APIs, and database response times under load.
• Identify client- and server-side bottlenecks and share findings with developers, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1.5–4 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA practices.
• Strong Python and/or Scala scripting skills, including object-oriented programming.
• Basic understanding of cloud-based systems and infrastructure components such as streams, queues, and hosts.
• Experience analyzing test results and identifying issues or unexpected behavior.
• Upper-Intermediate English level and availability to work remotely from Europe.

Nice to have

• Performance testing experience, including analysis of performance results and metrics.
• Experience with AWS, Gatling, Locust, k6, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools.
• Relevant cloud, performance testing, or tool-specific certifications and training.
