Marketing Automation Consultant

Location: Genk, Belgium; hybrid work at the Genk hub

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize automated customer journeys, triggers, campaigns, and automation flows.
• Develop and maintain email templates, landing pages, and dynamic content experiences.
• Work with customer data, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
• Integrate marketing automation platforms with CRM, CDP, and other business systems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and continuously improve campaign performance.
• Explain complex technical concepts clearly to colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with at least one marketing automation platform: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Bloomreach, Selligent, or Braze.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, email templates, landing pages, customer journeys, and campaign automations.
• Understanding of customer data, segmentation, and personalization concepts.
• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and data flows between systems.
• Basic experience with a backend language such as PHP, Python, or .NET.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a getting-things-done mentality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js or React.
