Senior Backend Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services and platforms that support Wi-Fi network design and optimization applications.
• Extend the web application architecture to support new features involving proprietary measurement-device data and control planes.
• Design and maintain cloud-based data and API architecture.
• Contribute to technical planning, software-stack direction, and system architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other teams to deliver features.
• Debug technical issues and mentor junior team members on architecture and best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Professional experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node, and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable solutions and microservices on AWS.
• Experience designing and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, solve technical problems, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Nice to have

• Modern frontend development experience with Vue or React.
• Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Terraform.
