Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Helsinki, Finland — onsite

Salary: €75,000–€85,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain services and platforms that support applications for designing and optimizing Wi-Fi networks.
• Adapt and extend web application architecture to support new features involving proprietary measurement-device data and control planes.
• Design and work with cloud data and API architecture.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to maintain stable and efficient applications.
• Mentor and guide junior team members on architecture, best practices, and effective ways of working.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Professional experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable solutions and microservices on AWS.
• Experience designing and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to contribute to technical planning and software architecture decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern frontend development using Vue.js or React.
• Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Terraform.
