Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: On-site in Fort Meade, Maryland, United States

Salary: $70,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and modernize a full-stack mission management and workflow automation system.
• Build system features and backend APIs based on evolving customer and mission requirements.
• Support the automation development team through code reviews, software-engineering expertise, and enabling functions.
• Containerize and orchestrate services while supporting migration to Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Perform system updates and upgrades and implement additional security features.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, subject matter experts, and the mission customer.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Eight years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Experience building full-scale applications and APIs with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm chart authoring, and CI/CD integration.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience with data orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow.
• Full-stack development experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
