Journeyman Fullstack Engineer (Vue)

What you will do

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain maritime systems software.
• Perform adaptive, corrective, preventive, and perfective software maintenance.
• Develop software modules and automated tests within DevSecOps and Agile workflows.
• Analyze software requirements and identify software and hardware dependencies and capacities.
• Participate in peer reviews, unit testing, integration, deployment, and system sustainment.
• Create and maintain system engineering documentation, including diagrams and VDDs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with software development or integration projects in cloud, service-oriented, web-services, or virtualization environments.
• Proficiency with AWS and cloud-based architecture, plus an understanding of DevOps methodologies and workflows.
• Working knowledge of Vue, Node, PostgreSQL, Git or GitLab, and AWS services such as S3 and EC2.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain SCI and a polygraph after hire.

Nice to have

• DOD 8570 certification, such as Security+ or an equivalent or higher certification.
• Understanding of containers and technologies including Docker, ECS, EKS, Fargate, or AKS.
