NPI Engineer (Electronics)

What you will do

• Transfer stable electronic designs into volume production and own the industrialization plan.
• Design ICT and functional test fixtures and define their production test requirements.
• Drive DFM and DFT improvements into electronics designs.
• Work with contract manufacturers on build readiness, process quality, and production issues.
• Collaborate with software engineers on production test software and fixture firmware.
• Track production yield, identify root causes, and maintain documentation, work instructions, and test records.

Requirements

• Experience taking electronic products from design through volume manufacturing.
• Experience designing ICT and functional production test fixtures, including test requirements.
• Hands-on experience with DFM, DFT, contract manufacturers or internal production lines, schematics, layouts, and board debugging.
• Experience with process and yield improvement supported by production data.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Production, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent English at C1 level or above.

Nice to have

• Medical device or other regulated-industry experience, including design transfer, IQ/OQ/PQ process validation, and ISO 13485.
• Testing software and scripting experience with Python or LabVIEW.
• Knowledge of SMT processes, panelisation, AOI, and X-ray inspection.
• Experience with contract manufacturers outside Sweden and related travel.
• Familiarity with statistical process control, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
