TL;DR
DevOps Support Engineer (Linux/Windows): Supporting infrastructure and operations for investment banking and financial services solutions in a hybrid Porto-based project with an accent on systems administration, application servers, monitoring, databases, and security infrastructure. Focus on maintaining reliable environments, automating operational tasks with scripting, managing schedulers and backups, and troubleshooting complex enterprise systems.
Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal

What you will do
- Support infrastructure and operations for investment banking and financial services solutions.
- Administer Linux and Windows environments and enterprise systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot application servers including JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, and IIS.
- Develop and use Shell, Python, and PowerShell scripts for operational support.
- Work with industrial schedulers, monitoring tools, databases, LDAP, firewalls, reverse proxies, Active Directory, and Kerberos.
- Manage infrastructure backups and support reliable day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- More than 6 years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments and systems administration.
- Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, or IIS.
- Experience with Shell, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with BMC, Control-M, or another industrial scheduler, plus monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Grafana.
- Fluent English and experience with SQL, databases, infrastructure security, and backups.
