Senior System Engineer within R&D and customer projects (Defense)

Location: Mölnlycke, Sweden; the role is associated with Göteborg and requires flexibility to travel when needed.

What you will do

• Own system-level engineering activities from requirements definition through delivery.
• Interpret customer needs and translate project requirements into structured system requirements.
• Align customer-specific requirements with the existing platform architecture and technical capabilities.
• Maintain requirements traceability and support reuse across customer projects.
• Coordinate with product managers, project managers, development, verification, integration, structure, and architecture specialists.
• Divide time between customer deliveries and internal product development activities.

Requirements

• Solid experience in systems engineering, preferably using the V-model, supported by an engineering education.
• Broad system perspective with the ability to analyze complete solutions, interfaces, and system dependencies.
• Experience managing requirements throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Experience with process-oriented development and coordinating integration, verification, and subsystem leads.
• Excellent technical communication and writing skills in both Swedish and English.
• Experience in international, cross-functional environments, plus leadership, initiative, business awareness, and the ability to coordinate task forces.
