Performance Manager - Administration & Visual - Kay Jewelers - Columbus & Central Ohio Area (Retail)

Location: Support Center in Akron, Ohio, with regular visits to stores in the Columbus and Central Ohio area

A large diamond jewelry retailer operating more than 2,800 stores worldwide across multiple jewelry brands.

What you will do

• Support the regional area operations manager and assigned stores in improving sales performance, operational excellence, and leadership development.
• Communicate administrative and visual display expectations and help store teams maintain company standards.
• Visit stores, identify successes and operational issues, and partner with managers to address root causes.
• Monitor customer feedback, Net Promoter System performance, productivity, audits, sales receipts, and markdown irregularities.
• Oversee merchandise launches, visual displays, in-store signage, showcase allocation, and Visual Selling System execution.
• Lead visual merchandising activities for new store openings, remodels, and repositions, and train team members on visual standards.

Requirements

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective communication skills in one-on-one conversations and small-group settings.
• Ability to solve practical problems involving varied situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• Knowledge of POS terminals, scanners, basic computer hardware and software, and the ability to learn company POS systems and store technology.
• Ability to work from the Akron support center and visit assigned stores in the Columbus and Central Ohio area.
