Manager, HCCO Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Budapest, Hungary, supporting Hungary, Croatia, and Slovenia; travel of up to 20–30% across the assigned markets and region.

Base pay: HUF 14,351,000–24,760,650 per year, plus an annual bonus or sales commissions depending on the applicable plan.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary Healthcare Compliance Officer for Hungary, Croatia, and Slovenia.
• Develop and execute healthcare compliance strategies aligned with global and EMEA priorities.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks related to commercial, promotional, professional education, and operational activities.
• Advise business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on healthcare compliance requirements and ethical decision-making.
• Oversee training, monitoring, risk assessments, issue management, investigations, audits, and regulatory interactions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and present compliance risk assessments and recommendations to regional and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable to Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, and/or the broader EMEA region.
• Experience supporting country-level compliance programs or initiatives in a regulated industry.
• Strong analytical, judgment, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English is required; Hungarian or another relevant regional language is preferred.

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or the broader life sciences industry.
• Experience supporting compliance programs within a global organization.
• Exposure to compliance monitoring, investigations, remediation, or audits.
• Advanced degree or certification in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics.
