Football Video Information Officer (VAR)

Location: Onsite at the Replay Centre in Glasgow, Scotland; match-day work at stadiums

Salary: £60 per match for 3 hours

What you will do

• Provide live graphics to stadium audiences showing what is being checked by VAR.
• Conduct pre-match checks in the replay centre, on the pitch, and in broadcast areas.
• Liaise with stadium staff, match officials, and host broadcasters.
• Monitor the VAR information system during matches.
• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues during live operations.

• Good technical grounding and the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Knowledge of football laws and match situations.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and perform under pressure.
• Professional and approachable communication with clients and customers.
• Interest in sport and technology.
