Sr. Finance Analyst (IT SOX/Internal Audit)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; at least 4 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Assess IT control design and test operating effectiveness across in-scope financial systems and applications.
• Review walkthrough documentation, meet control owners, test controls, and report identified issues.
• Document test results in workpaper templates for SOX team and external auditor review.
• Assess control exceptions, communicate issues, and support remediation action plans.
• Coordinate with control owners, IT teams, external auditors, and SOX stakeholders.
• Contribute to the annual IT SOX program and support non-SOX projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience with a relevant bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with a master's degree or MBA.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and risk management skills.
• Ability to explain control assessments clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration, organization, time management, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools.
• Ability to work from the Dubai office at least 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• ACCA, CISA, or another relevant professional qualification.
