Regional Ukraine Crisis Adviser (Humanitarian)

Location: Oslo, Norway, or remote from an NRC office in Europe; approximately 30% travel required

Salary: Grade 9 in NRC’s Salary Scale with a competitive compensation and benefits package

What you will do

• Advise Country Directors and Heads of Programmes supporting the Ukraine response and Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.
• Support programme development, strategic planning, and country-level strategy development.
• Identify business development opportunities and support successful proposal development.
• Provide induction training for country office programme staff.
• Support change management efforts and programme evaluations.
• Manage the Nansen NRC Ukraine Response 2025–2027 project.

Requirements

• Experience as a manager or adviser.
• Experience in humanitarian, recovery, or emergency response contexts.
• Knowledge of institutional donors’ strategies, priorities, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with proposal development, funding, or partnerships.
• Experience in complex and volatile contexts.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, is required.
