TL;DR
Senior Manager, Solution Architect – Insurance (Insurance/Enterprise Technology): Designing and delivering large-scale insurance transformation, modernization, and managed services solutions with an accent on end-to-end architecture, cloud adoption, integration, security, and client alignment. Focus on defining scalable architectures, supporting pre-sales and delivery strategy, managing architectural risks, and mentoring architecture and engineering teams.
Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; in-person collaboration is prioritized.

What you will do
- Lead solution architecture for insurance transformation, application modernization, and managed services engagements.
- Define end-to-end architectures across applications, integration, data, cloud, security, and infrastructure.
- Translate client and business requirements into scalable, secure, cost-effective technology solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews, governance, risk mitigation, roadmaps, estimates, and transition strategies.
- Support pre-sales through RFP responses, workshops, presentations, proposals, and client discussions.
- Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams while driving innovation and delivery improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of IT experience, including significant solution architecture or architecture leadership experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale insurance application development, modernization, and digital transformation programs.
- Knowledge of insurance processes and platforms, including policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, and customer engagement.
- Strong expertise in enterprise and integration architecture, cloud technologies, Agile, DevOps, SDLC, and modern delivery methods.
- Experience with Java, .NET, APIs, microservices, middleware, event-driven architecture, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Nice to have
- Experience with DXC Insurance platforms such as Integral, iPOS, Assure, or equivalent solutions.
- TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, SAFe Architect, PMP, or Scrum certification.
